  • 2 slices slices of bread, any kind you love Use whole grain or sourdough for extra flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter, creamy or crunchy Choose based on personal preference.
  • 1 small banana, ripe but not mushy Look for yellow peels with a few freckles.
  • 1 pinch salt Optional, enhances flavor.
  • 1 drizzle honey Optional, add for sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toast the bread lightly if desired.
  2. Spread peanut butter over one slice of warm bread.
  3. Slice the banana thinly and layer it evenly on the peanut butter slice.
  4. Add honey or a pinch of salt if using.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, press gently, slice, and enjoy.

Notes

For variations, consider adding chocolate spread, crushed cornflakes, or bacon. Great for toddlers if cut into small pieces. Can be made ahead by adding peanut butter to both slices and keeping bananas in the middle.
