Method
 

Preparation
  1. Take two slices of soft bread and place a thick slice of Gouda cheese between them.
  2. Spread butter on the outer sides of the bread.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Once hot, place the sandwich in the skillet, cooking until the bread is golden brown.
  3. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serving
  1. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
