Preparation
- Preheat the toaster or oven while you prepare the filling.
- Scramble the eggs in a pan over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Toast the bagels until lightly golden.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each bagel.
- Layer with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and any additional toppings.
- Top with the other half of the bagel and serve warm.
Notes
For meal prep, scramble eggs ahead of time and store assembled sandwiches wrapped in foil in the fridge. Reheat as needed. Avoid adding fresh toppings until just before eating to maintain freshness.
